The Renault 8 Gordini

The R8 Gordini was at the time to allow a whole clientele of sports driving enthusiasts to satisfy their passion with a car at the price of that of a mass-produced car.

The Renault 8 Gordini 1300 is equipped with a 1,255 cc engine developing 88 bhp, 8-valve cylinder head, 2 double-barrel Weber 40DCOE carburettors, for an advertised speed of 170 km/h.
