Bigster Concept was a promise that created considerable expectation.<\/p><p>Today, Bigster is delivering on all the promises made by Bigster Concept.<\/p><blockquote><p><strong><em>\u201cWith Bigster, we have stayed true to the intentions expressed in Bigster Concept. Bigster is the ultimate expression of Dacia&#8217;s values, and is now the brand\u2019s flagship vehicle.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p><p><strong><em>David Durand, Dacia Design Vice President<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote><p><strong>Dacia&#8217;s values are a close fit with the requirements of the C-SUV segment.<\/strong> The design of Bigster showcases its robust styling and ability to support customers in their work, leisure and family activities. Generous dimensions are accentuated by taut, geometric shapes and volumes whose simple lines go straight to the essentials. The sculpted, horizontal bonnet was designed to give the driver a clear view of the road below.<\/p><p><strong>The styling of Bigster goes straight to the essentials, without forgetting the \u2018cool\u2019 touch <\/strong>that is also part of the brand&#8217;s values and the expectations of C-SUV customers.<\/p><p><strong>But Dacia is playing it cool its own way.<\/strong> Graphic design features add a touch of casual elegance, on the front end and doors, as well as above the rear number plate. And rather than following the trend for gloss black, Dacia designers have opted for a mix of gloss and matt black, creating a more robust and resistant finish.<\/p><p><strong>Bigster: robust, cool and eco-smart.<\/strong> The front and rear skid plates are dyed in the mass, making them more durable and resistant. The protection running all the way round the body \u2013 on the sides, wheel arches and lower part of the bumpers \u2013 is made from Starkle\u00ae. Dacia is using this material for a more sustainable approach.\u00a0 Developed by brand engineers and incorporating recycled materials, Starkle\u00ae is used in untreated, unpainted form (more information below).<\/p><p><strong>Very Dacia, and therefore very functional, Bigster adapts to the tastes and habits of C-SUV segment customers.<\/strong> Bigster ships with 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, with 19-inch wheels of graphic design available as an option with the top-spec journey trim. On higher trim levels, customers can opt for a black roof creating a two-tone finish that showcases the vehicle design lines \u2013 a first for Dacia.<\/p><p>A new body colour is also available, Indigo Blue. Exclusive to Bigster, this metallic shade adds a touch of elegance, suggesting statutory character while staying simple.<\/p><p><strong>David Durand continues:<\/strong> <em>\u201cIn terms of interior design, we wanted to underline one of Bigster&#8217;s major assets: its exceptional interior space. We&#8217;ve gone for simplicity, with geometric lines that echo those of the exterior, while delivering the quality expected by customers in the C-SUV segment.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p><strong>Inside Bigster, the designers focused on the essentials: space, ergonomics and comfort<\/strong>. The high-mounted vertical dashboard increases the space available for passengers at the front.<\/p><p><strong>For purposes of simplicity and efficiency, driving information is grouped on the 7\u2019\u2019 or 10\u2019\u2019 digital instrument panel<\/strong> (depending on trim) while information associated with the multimedia system is displayed on the 10.1\u2019\u2019 central touchscreen (standard on all Bigster models).
