When it was released, the Celta was equipped with a 30 hp 1.4 L 4-cylinder engine for an average speed of 110 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 1936, the Renault Celta 4 was reworked to lose its curves, to be more aerodynamic, and two other versions appeared: a <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cabriolet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">convertible<\/a> and a coach.<br \/>\nIn 1937, the entire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cars-of-the-legend.com\/listing-category\/renault\/\">Renault<\/a> Celtaquatre range received an American-inspired V grille.<br \/>\nIn 1938, the coup\u00e9 model was discontinued and the whole range was fitted with a straight-blade bumper.<br \/>\n1939: production of the Celta 4 ceased to make way for the Juvaquatre.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
