  • Prestigious design and exceptional aerodynamics meet the high demands of everyday and long-distance driving
  • Partially electric driving, improved efficiency and increased performance: MHEV plus mild hybrid technology
  • The perfect blend of sportiness and comfort: adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering

The new A6 sets new standards in design and aerodynamics. It stands for premium travel and embodies innovation and comfort in the premium sedan class down to the smallest detail. Its exceptionally low drag coefficient of 0.23 is the best in Audi history for a production model with a combustion engine. Whether on long journeys or in the city, the adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering ensure superior ride comfort and sporty handling in equal measure. The diesel engine is now more efficient and powerful thanks to MHEV plus mild hybrid technology. The sedan also impresses with its intuitive and consistently user-oriented operating and infotainment concepts, its new digital lighting technology, and its intelligent driver assistance systems.

Nouvelle Audi A6

Gernot Döllner, CEO of Audi: “The new Audi A6 combines an elegant and dynamic design with exceptional aerodynamics. Efficient and high-performance drive systems and cutting-edge suspension technology combine sportiness with high comfort, making the A6 a first-class experience.” With this model, the company is also continuing its major product initiative, which began in 2024. The modernization and rejuvenation of the product portfolio are part of the Audi Agenda, with which the brand is positioning itself for the future in the face of increased competition. “With the A6, we are now renewing an important model series,” said Döllner.

Like the new Q5 and A5, the new A6 is also based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC). The E³ 1.2 electronic architecture guarantees modern connectivity, updates, and digitalization features in all new models.

Elegant and dynamic: the exterior design

The body design of the new Audi A6 is clear and functional. Its minimalist design combines elegance and sportiness. The most prominent feature of the design is the curve of the upper edge of the window, which elegantly and fluidly flows from the front side windows to the fixed rear window. This is typical of Audi, and it highlights the aerodynamic shape of the A6’s body. The expansive surfaces combined with the dynamic lines, which form the quattro blades that emerge powerfully from the shoulder area, are a central element of Audi’s design DNA. These features, combined with the wide track, embody sportiness.

The front end is characterized by the low-positioned Singleframe grille, which extends to the lower edge of the front apron. Combined with the sleek headlights and prominently positioned Audi rings, this gives the Audi A6 a striking, focused, and distinguished expression. Three-dimensionally molded air intakes positioned below the headlights give the bumper a powerful and sporty appearance.

Like the front, the rear is elongated and slightly sloping upwards, with the high-positioned Audi rings, synonymous with prestige. The two slender taillights, with their precise graphics and continuous light strip, emphasize the vehicle’s width. They give the new Audi A6 a sense of presence, as does the vertical brake light that frames the rear. The large diffuser with its eye-catching decorative element completes the rear, integrating the exhaust tailpipes with their striking rectangular covers.

Digital and personalized: lighting technology

Advanced lighting technology contributes significantly to greater road safety and is an essential part of Audi’s DNA. The new A6 also plays a pioneering role in its class in this area.

The design of the headlights and taillights is entirely focused on digitalization, giving drivers the opportunity to customize the appearance of their A6 according to their own preferences. At the same time, the digital lighting display offers innovative functions that improve communication with other road users. At the same time, the lighting technology reflects the characteristic Audi aesthetic.

The standard Matrix LED headlights feature a hexagonally perforated stainless steel screen that conceals the digital daytime running lights. This new design gives the headlights an even more striking appearance. With a total of seven digital light signatures at the front and rear, several of which are designed as active signatures in which individual segments intelligently brighten and darken, the new A6 offers considerable customization potential.

The second-generation OLED digital taillights are optionally available for the rear of the Audi A6 and uniquely combine lighting design and innovative technology. With a total of eight digital OLED panels, they create high recognition value while increasing road safety. Each side features 198 OLED segments that create the digital signatures, some of which are active. Active signatures give the lights the impression of being alive thanks to their constant movement. The algorithm specially developed for this function creates a new image from the 396 OLED segments several times per second. The individual segments interact in such a way that the overall light intensity remains unchanged.

The proximity detection and communication light of the digital OLED 2.0 taillights are essential components for further increasing road safety through light. For example, other road users receive a warning in the event of an accident or breakdown ahead. In critical driving or traffic situations, the communication light of the digital OLED 2.0 taillights projects a specific light signature: in addition to the usual taillight graphic, eight triangles across the entire rear serve to warn drivers behind.

The motion aesthetic is typical of Audi and impresses the driver with each dynamic lighting effect when unlocking or exiting the vehicle. With the “coming-home” and “leaving-home” function, individual LED or OLED segments are activated every few milliseconds, creating a new and futuristic lighting sequence even when stationary.

Nouvelle Audi A6

Lots of choices: two exteriors, eleven colors, progressive wheels

Unlike the standard equipment, where the Audi A6 deliberately displays a large amount of body color and aluminum to emphasize its elegance, the exterior of the S line emphasizes its sportiness. The area around the front air intakes is finished in matte anthracite chrome, as are the wider side sills and the trim piece around the diffuser, which has a sportier design. The black Singleframe grille also has a wider structure, and vertical frames accentuate the side air intakes to optimize airflow. Each of these elements underlines the dynamic character of the Audi A6 S line.

The black exterior package can be added as an option to the S line trim. Here, the Audi rings at the front and rear are finished in anthracite gray. The Singleframe grille, diffuser inserts, door sills, door handles, window trims, and mirror housings of the Audi A6 are black. The exhaust system also features a dark chrome tailpipe trim.

Drivers can choose from eleven colors for the A6, including the solid Arkona White finish. Glacier White, Mythic Black, and Chronos Gray are available in metallic finishes, and Grenadine Red, Floret Silver, Firmament Blue, and Madeira Brown are also offered. The selection is rounded out by the all-new Midnight Green color, as well as Ascari Blue and Daytona Gray, which are available exclusively for vehicles with an S line exterior.

As for wheels, Audi offers a wide selection of progressive designs from 18 to 21 inches for the A6 sedan. For the S line trim, 19-inch wheels are standard. Two of the four 20-inch wheels and all 21-inch wheels come from Audi Sport.

In addition, there will be various exclusive Audi options that will allow for even more customization of the A6 sedan. In addition to the exclusive exterior colors, these also include new interior and leather colors.

Aerodynamics: The best drag coefficient of a combustion-engine Audi

The sporty, low-slung design of the new Audi A6 contributes to its exceptional aerodynamics, guaranteeing a drag coefficient (Cd value) of 0.23. This is the best value of any production model with a combustion engine in Audi’s history. Air intakes are used to ensure that the airflow around the front wheels and sides of the vehicle is as smooth as possible. They have been seamlessly integrated into the new design of the A6 sedan. Two separately controllable fresh air inlets behind the Singleframe grille are part of the aerodynamic concept. They ensure optimized airflow around the engine compartment. To exploit the full potential of this technology, Audi has also optimized the seal between the bumper and the cooling unit, reducing airflow losses in this area by up to 70 percent. To achieve this, the air control elements have been made significantly stiffer. The unified interface for the air intake and engine cooling also contributes to improved airflow around the body. In addition, a front spoiler in the front bumper reduces lift on the front axle and ensures better airflow around the underbody. In addition, numerous panels on the underside of the vehicle ensure controlled and harmonious airflow. These include wheel spoilers and specific covers on the transmission tunnel and rear axle.

The shape of the rear end slopes slightly upward at the end, a crucial factor for the A6 sedan’s exceptional aerodynamics. The acute angle of the spoiler lip, combined with the hollow groove in front, creates optimal downforce. In combination with the large, wide diffuser, the wake area—the turbulence of the airflow at the rear and behind—is minimized and maintained within an ideal range for aerodynamics. The result is an ideal balance between rear axle lift and drag, improving driving dynamics.

The sophisticated aerodynamic concept is complemented by aerodynamically optimized 18- and 19-inch diamond-cut aluminum wheels. The visible rim design is glossy, while the closed sections, designed to optimize aerodynamics, are black and blend discreetly into the shadows.

The aerodynamics and overall acoustics of the new A6 Sedan are also first-rate. For example, the vehicle’s sound insulation has been improved by almost 30 percent compared to the previous model, while the material weight has remained virtually the same. Tighter-sealed windows and optimized door seals ensure more pleasant interior acoustics, thus improving on-board comfort. Optional acoustic glazing is now available for the rear windows as well as the front side windows. The new engine and transmission silent blocks allow for a smoother and quieter ride. The shape of the transmission’s gear teeth has also been optimized, which also improves the acoustics of the S tronic. In addition, all tires 19 inches or larger are equipped with noise absorbers. These are foam rings inside the tire that reduce air vibrations in this area and therefore have a positive effect on the noise level in the vehicle.

A spacious interior

With a total length of 4.99 meters, the Audi A6 is 60 millimeters longer than its predecessor. The 2,927-millimeter wheelbase provides driving comfort on long journeys and contributes to the generous interior space. The A6 sedan measures just under 1.88 meters (74 inches) wide without mirrors.

The new panoramic blackout glass roof further enhances the feeling of space. It extends almost across the entire cabin and allows the interior to be flooded with light or effectively shaded. Six segments form the basis for different patterns with zones that can be activated and deactivated to provide complete glare protection. The “digital curtain” is operated by a button located in the roof module.

The trunk of the new A6 has a capacity of 452 liters. Thanks to its width of 1,050 millimeters, two large suitcases can easily be placed side by side. The standard 40:20:40 split-folding rear seats allow for variable loading for items such as ski equipment. The storage and luggage compartment package is also standard. An optional power tailgate opens and closes with a simple foot movement. Projection lighting on the floor indicates the “unlock” position.

Business Lounge: The Interior Design Philosophy

The interior of the A6 sedan reflects the four characteristics of Audi’s new design philosophy. First, the interior is designed to be “human-centric,” meaning it is systematically tailored to the needs of its users. The second distinctive feature is the “digital stage,” which takes the form of the Audi MMI display. With its “material-oriented design,” the new Audi A6 fulfills the desire for a generous sense of space with a high level of comfort. The clear structure and logical operating concept ensure an overview in all situations and represent the fourth characteristic, “visual clarity.”

The digital scene revolves around the Audi MMI panoramic display and the optional MMI passenger display. The slim, freestanding Audi MMI panoramic display features a curved design and OLED technology. It consists of the Audi virtual cockpit with an 11.9-inch screen diagonal and the 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen. Audi completes the digital scene for front passengers with the optional 10.9-inch MMI front passenger display, which is also seamlessly integrated into the dashboard design. It allows the front passenger to access websites and stream video content, and also helps with navigation or searching for the nearest gas station. Thanks to the dynamic privacy mode, distracting content such as videos cannot be viewed from the driver’s seat while driving. If the passenger display is not in use or if no passengers are detected, a digital background image is displayed. The new Audi A6 can be optionally equipped with a new, configurable head-up display (HUD). A wide range of information can be displayed on the HUD, including speed, active assistance systems, navigation instructions, and multimedia information. For the first time, drivers can control vehicle and infotainment functions via the head-up display. Thanks to maximum use of installation space and adapted display technology, the visible image area is more than 85% larger than before, and the display is significantly more precise.

In contrast to the digital and technical areas, the new interior of the Audi A6 features a so-called Softwrap application. It extends from door to door across the entire width of the dashboard, making the interior appear wider. The fabrics, synthetic material, or Dinamica selected for the door panels and armrests create a comfortable and refined atmosphere.

The high-quality colors and materials of the interior are reflected not only in the Softwrap, but also in the seats. The seats, Softwrap, door panels, and armrests are optionally available in sustainable materials such as Kaskade fabric and Dinamica microfiber, which are largely made from recycled polyester. The Kaskade textile upholstery is reminiscent of natural materials such as wool and is undyed. It is partly made from recycled materials such as selvedge and recycled polyester. The Dinamica microfiber resembles suede, but about half of its composition is recycled polyester. Only European wood from felled trees that no longer bear fruit is used for the natural brown apple wood decor.

The distinctive interior of the Audi A6 also makes an impression in the dark. Contoured lighting along the dashboard and in the doors accentuates the interior’s width, while indirect light under the Audi MMI panoramic display and in the center console creates a visual floating effect. The high-quality door materials are also elegantly illuminated. And on vehicles equipped with this option, the Bang & Olufsen logo is even illuminated.

As part of the new interior and cockpit design to create the digital scene, the dynamic interaction light facilitates communication between the vehicle and its occupants. Consisting of 84 LEDs, it is located below the windshield and illuminates in a wide arc extending from the left to the right A-pillar. In addition to a welcome function, the interaction light also features a special lighting sequence that activates when the vehicle is locked or unlocked. It also contributes to safety by displaying the dynamic turn signal, but this serves only as an additional display and does not replace the turn signal in the Audi virtual cockpit.

Exceptional features: an exceptional experience

Numerous comfort-enhancing features make traveling in the A6 sedan a simply first-class experience. Sophisticated aeroacoustics also enhance the audio experience, especially with the optional premium audio system by Bang & Olufsen. The top-of-the-line version is equipped with two additional speakers in each of the front headrests, taking the sound experience to a new level. Exceptional 3D sound is produced by a total of 16 or 20 speakers, including a highly efficient amplifier and a subwoofer, with a power output of 685 or 810 watts respectively. The speakers integrated into the headrests create a personal surround sound experience and an even more immersive music experience. They also enable highly precise audio output: navigation instructions and phone calls are directed specifically to the driver. The following on-demand features can be added later: bass boost, automatic level adjustment, and music revitalization, which enhances the sound of compressed music files. The “virtual environments” function recreates soundscapes so you can listen to your favorite music as if you were in a concert hall, a jazz club, or an open-air concert.

The standard four-zone automatic climate control package provides excellent climate comfort, as it regulates the temperature, volume, and air distribution separately for the driver, front passenger, and outer rear seats. At the same time, passengers in the rear can adjust the settings using a separate climate control unit located in the center console. The optional Air Quality package includes an ionizer and a fine dust sensor, which significantly improve air quality inside the vehicle.

Available as an option, the door closing assist function ensures that the vehicle doors close silently. With the assisted closing feature, simply lower the doors gently into the locking mechanism. If the locking mechanism doesn’t fully engage, the doors will automatically be pulled fully closed and then locked.

Fuel-efficient and efficient: MHEV plus technology

At its launch, the new Audi A6 will be available in France with a diesel engine, equipped with mild hybrid technology (MHEV plus), and will therefore be partially electrified.

The MHEV plus system assists the combustion engine, improves performance and ride quality, and reduces CO2 emissions. It consists of three main components: a 48-volt battery, a belt-driven starter motor, and the new powertrain generator with integrated power electronics. The lithium-ion battery, made of lithium iron phosphate, has a storage capacity of 1.7 kWh.

The main function of the belt-driven starter motor is to start the engine and supply the battery with electrical energy. The powertrain generator enables partially electric driving, provides additional torque, and feeds energy back into the battery during deceleration.

Partial electric driving: MHEV plus technology leverages the advantages of electric driving when parking and maneuvering. The electric drive components can also be used during slow city driving, in slow traffic, or when coasting outside city limits. In these situations, the Audi A6 operates solely with the powertrain generator, making it particularly efficient.

A boost of up to 18 kW: MHEV plus technology supports the combustion engine, for example when starting off in stop-and-go traffic or when overtaking. To achieve this, the powertrain’s generator produces an additional torque of up to 230 newton meters and power of up to 18 kW (24 hp).

Regeneration up to 25 kW: During deceleration, the powertrain generator recovers energy and feeds it back into the battery (regeneration) with a power output of up to 25 kW. With the Efficiency Assistant, the integrated brake control system provides improved regeneration capacity and allows for pedal-free braking, in most cases without using the friction brake.

The 48-volt system also allows the use of an electric air conditioning compressor. The main advantage is that even when the engine is switched off, for example when coasting or at a red light, the air conditioning continues to operate at full power, maintaining a comfortable interior temperature.

2.0 TDI 4-cylinder 204 hp: The 2.0 TDI delivers 150 kW (204 hp) and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. To increase efficiency and comfort, the engine is partially electrified with MHEV plus technology and equipped with a 48-volt electrical system. Partially electric driving and high energy recuperation reduce carbon emissions. The 48-volt belt-driven alternator starter also increases the comfort of the TDI by starting the engine quietly. The vehicle responds more quickly when starting off and is significantly more agile. The 2.0 TDI is available with a dual-clutch transmission in front-wheel drive or quattro ultra all-wheel drive.

The perfect marriage of sportiness and comfort: the chassis

The new A6 impresses with its exceptional ride comfort, a particularly welcome asset on long journeys. It embodies the business class experience like no other model. The adaptive air suspension and the all-wheel drive of the quattro variants contribute significantly to this, significantly improving handling at low speeds and noticeably increasing precision and stability at high speeds. The A6 sedan effortlessly perfects the synthesis of sportiness and comfort in line with typical Audi driving characteristics: precise, controlled, solid, connected, and well-balanced—or, in short, Audi DNA.

The front and rear axles of the new Audi A6 use a five-link design, largely made of aluminum. Two subframes—the front rigidly mounted and the rear hydraulically mounted—connect the control arms to the body.

Three suspensions are available:

  • The standard suspension, designed to be even more comfortable than its predecessor
  • The sports suspension, which lowers the body by 20 millimeters for a significantly sportier ride (standard with the S line trim)
  • The adaptive air suspension with electronically controlled damping, which offers the vehicle a wide range of possibilities between a very smooth and comfortable ride and a sporty ride

The optional adaptive air suspension with adjustable damping on all four wheels regulates ride height and shock absorption. The adaptive air suspension automatically balances the vehicle load, ensuring the car remains level. Compared to the standard suspension, the A6 Sedan is 20 millimeters lower in normal mode (balanced, comfort, and efficiency modes), the same height as with the sport suspension. In dynamic mode, the ride height is lowered by 10 millimeters for a sporty driving feel. To reduce drag, the body is lowered to its lowest level at speeds above 120 km/h (75 mph), even in balanced and efficiency modes. In contrast, the lift function raises the A6 Sedan 20 millimeters above its normal level and can now be used at speeds up to 85 km/h (53 mph). This feature ensures safety and propulsion even in difficult driving conditions, such as on snowy or uneven roads. The Audi drive select dynamic handling system allows you to adjust the vehicle’s ride height and control the steering and transmission parameters. The range between the driving modes has been increased: handling in dynamic mode is significantly more precise and sportier, while comfort mode is designed for a smooth and comfortable ride on long journeys. And thanks to the Audi assistant, the adaptive air suspension can now be controlled by voice for the first time in the A6, with simple commands such as “raise vehicle” or “lower air suspension.”

Progressive and efficient: quattro all-wheel drive

The quattro ultra all-wheel drive system distributes torque flexibly to maximize efficiency while offering all the benefits of quattro drive for even greater safety and driving dynamics. An electronically controlled multi-plate clutch distributes torque between the front and rear axles over a wide range, depending on the specific driving situation. For excellent fuel efficiency, the rear axle of the quattro ultra drive is automatically decoupled under partial load as far as the driving situation permits. When cornering dynamically, or when the road surface’s friction coefficient so requires, the quattro system’s electronically controlled multi-plate clutch connects the front and rear axles and flexibly distributes tractive force where it is needed. If you accelerate sharply out of a bend, the power is distributed more to the rear. In this driving situation, the power split between the front and rear axles is approximately 30/70.

Advanced: A highly connected control system with brake torque vectoring

Whether in terms of cornering, longitudinal dynamics, or ride quality, the benefits of the highly connected control system are felt at all times. Compared to the previous generation, Audi has improved the interaction between the suspension control and drive systems in the new A6. The integrated brake control system, controlled dampers, and engine management system work together even faster and more precisely. The result is perfect handling.

Thanks to vectoring braking—wheel-selective torque control—the new A6 can maneuver even better in corners. Vectoring braking continuously monitors the current driving situation and counteracts any understeer. As soon as a certain amount of available friction is used in the longitudinal and lateral directions—in other words, when the wheels on the inside of the bend lose traction at a low friction value—they are gently braked. Thanks to this targeted braking intervention and the resulting difference in propulsion forces, the Audi A6’s steering is more direct and responds more immediately to the given situation. Handling is therefore more precise, safer, and more agile.

Improved handling: Progressive Steering and All-Wheel Steering

The reworked and now more direct steering contributes significantly to the comfortable yet dynamic handling of the new A6 sedan. Compared to the previous generation, the entire path from the steering wheel to the wheels is stiffer. This includes the torsion bar in the steering gear, the rigidly bolted steering rack, and the stiffer control arm bushings. The camber on the front axle has also been slightly increased. Overall, these measures result in significantly improved steering response and better road feel, enabling precise and smooth handling.

The Audi A6 is equipped with electromechanical progressive steering as standard. The steering ratio varies depending on the steering angle: at small steering angles, such as on the motorway, the steering is more indirect to prevent nervous behavior from influencing the steering. At larger steering angles, the ratio becomes increasingly direct, reducing the physical effort required to steer in city traffic and when parking. In addition, the progressive steering provides a sporty driving feel in tight bends. The Audi drive select dynamic handling system can be used to change the steering characteristics, particularly the steering weight, in several modes.

All-wheel steering is optionally available with quattro all-wheel drive. It operates with a dynamic function whose response speed has been further improved. At speeds of around 60 km/h, the rear wheels steer up to five degrees in the opposite direction to the front wheels. This reduces the turning circle by up to one meter, bringing it down to 11.3 meters. This makes the car more agile in city traffic and on tight bends. At medium and higher speeds, the rear wheels steer in the same direction, allowing for stable and even more precise maneuvering.

A first for the A6: integrated braking system

The Audi A6 uses an integrated and modulatable braking system (iBRS). With this electric brake technology, the brake pedal and the brake hydraulics are completely decoupled. In variants equipped with MHEV plus technology, the system calculates whether the desired braking effect can be achieved through regenerative braking using the electric motor (i.e., the powertrain’s generator) or whether the friction brakes on the front and rear axles should also be activated.

In a fraction of a second, the control unit calculates the braking force required by the friction brakes. A piston in the hydraulic braking system then applies the required pressure. The braking feel remains the same when the pedal is pressed, with the transition between regenerative braking and friction braking being imperceptibly smooth and seamless, and the braking forces remaining constant. Thanks to electrohydraulic actuation, the system increases the braking pressure of the wheel brakes very precisely, approximately twice as fast as a conventional braking system. When automatic emergency braking is activated, maximum braking pressure is reached in just 150 milliseconds.

Connected: Infotainment with ChatGPT

The new Audi A6 uses Android Automotive OS as the operating system for the infotainment system. The vehicle updates all content via over-the-air updates. This is how Audi ensures that all connected services always remain up-to-date. Numerous third-party apps, including Spotify, YouTube, and news services, can be downloaded from the Audi app store, which, like the smartphone interface, is standard. These are integrated directly into the A6’s MMI – no smartphone is required to download or use the interface. The Audi smartphone interface transfers content from the smartphone directly to the vehicle’s infotainment system. This allows for easy control of navigation, telephone calls, music, and selected third-party apps via the MMI touchscreen and voice control system. Smartphones can be charged using the standard phone compartment with inductive charging function.

Thanks to the improved and more intuitive touchscreen, customers can take full advantage of the new operating and display concept. Many vehicle functions can also be controlled using enhanced voice control. The voice-controlled Audi Assistant provides support and learns as it goes. To answer questions as comprehensively as possible, the Audi Assistant accesses additional content on the internet, including weather data and background information. By connecting to ChatGPT (provided by Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service), customers can access AI-powered knowledge. The generated answers are tailored to each question and read out individually.

The Audi Assistant automatically determines whether to perform a specific vehicle function or answer a question on a different topic. If the Audi Assistant is unable to answer a question, it seamlessly accesses ChatGPT without any noticeable interruption to the occupants.

Greater ease and safety: driver assistance systems

The new Audi A6 is equipped with numerous modern driver assistance systems as standard. These systems increase comfort and safety on every journey by facilitating the driver’s work and taking over important tasks.

The Driving and Parking Assistance package is standard. It includes adaptive cruise control, a speed limiter that reacts to traffic signs, traffic sign recognition, surrounding cameras, and Parking Assist Plus. Other standard features include Parking Assist Plus with distance display, Lane Departure Warning, Cross Traffic Assist, Turn Assist, Front Turn Assist, and Emergency Brake Assist. Customers can also configure additional driver assistance packages as options.

The Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus is one of the highlights: in addition to various sensors that continuously monitor the vehicle’s surroundings, it also uses high-resolution map data and cloud-based swarm data from other vehicles. This allows the system to optimize traffic sign recognition and provide assistance with acceleration, maintaining speed and distance, and lane guidance.

Based on the collected data, the system calculates the route and guides the vehicle smoothly through traffic in the center of its lane, intervening in the steering. At the same time, it reacts to vehicles ahead and merging traffic by monitoring the distance and adjusting its speed in advance to accommodate speed limits and situations such as curves, intersections, and roundabouts.

In traffic jams, the system can slow the car to a complete stop and, depending on the duration of the stop, can restart it automatically. At stop signs, the speed is reduced to allow the driver to comfortably take control of the situation. Thanks to the multitude of parameters it takes into account, the Adaptive Driving Assistant Plus improves driving quality across the entire speed range and in heavy traffic.
